Lori Dalton is a Level II ECE with 27 years of working with children. She has experience working in different aspects of the Early Learning Field. When she’s not out in the forest with the children, she is often found running/walking her dogs or spending time in nature. Lori likes to be silly and have lots of fun. Her passion for children and outside makes for lots of fun forest adventures.
" Why Outside?" Why is it important to get outside? What do you need for a successful outside learning experience?
Participants will be given an overview of the importance of outside learning, and hands-on experiences in the outside learning environment. We will explore Risk Assessments, Site Checks, Planning, and Documentation, and the Importance of teamwork and consent. Participants are asked to dress appropriately for the weather and adventures around the forest.
